Transformers Philippines was officially reconized as a group in June 2002. The organization continues to deliver news to local fans, collectors and alike.
2004 Has its own hits and misses but Transformers Philippines moves on to deliver what fans had wanted. Updates, News, and a bit of interacting to each and every Pinoy Transfan. Either if your just a lurker, small & big time collector, or someone who likes to read updates your considered a part of Transformers Philippines. Even if your from a distant galaxy or univerese far far away.
So let's breakdown this year's hits and misses...
1] January starts the year with the 1st TF MEET-UP in 2004, which is also TFPH's last meet at the Brash Young Cinema. It has a huge attendance compared to the previous months of 2003.
2] February was the un-official premier of Transformers Super-Link here in the Philippines, which bannered not only the said first screening. But it was also a Grand TF-MEET UP for your not so usual group who have attended the previous meets. Having 14 attendees was not that big but a very memorable one.
Celebrating 20th Anniversary Transformers wasn't it great?
3] March month did not fair in comparison to the previous one. Due to one of the biggest lows that started at the end of the month.
4] April is the beginning of summer and Transformers Philippines was the 1st to break the news.
The arrival of Transformers Energon in local shores, namely in department stores nationwide. Not to mention the arrival of the Alternators and Transformers Universe toyline. Almost forgot a news feature at TFormers.com that has put Transformers Philippines on the map.
5] May month continues with the news of the arrival of more Transformers toys namely Omega Supreme, and few Transformers Universe Megas.
6] June brings us Transformers Philippines 2nd outing at this year's 3rd Philippines Collectible Convention or simply Toy Con PH in SM Megamall Megatrade 2.
This bannered TFPH as the Transformers group to represent the Philippines. It was also headlined in magazines namely Seekers, and international coverage by Toy Review magazine.
7] July-August-September wasn't a hit or miss but surely TFPH has regular TF MEET-UPs and news coverage. But one of the NEW WORLDS council members is inviting Transformers Philippines to represent & promote the liva-action film come 2006 or 2007. The other news is that there are TF fans and collectors doubled from last year.
8] October the start with TFPH having a new format which will fully be related to bring more TF news, reviews, and local coverage.
9] November herald a group who will handle new fan merchadise has been planned for next year and TFPH continues with the usual TF MEET-UP.
10] December gives TFPH the 2nd Christmas MEET-UP 2004, Another breakthrough news coverage, and hopefully the upcoming participation for the Games & Gadgets Show in January 2005.
The 1st in a series of event appearances before the upcoming 4th Philippines Collectible Convention or simply Toy Con 2005.
Wrapping up 2004 was a growing experience.
As the year 2005 closely approaches Transformers Philippines will concentrate straight on to bring you more local news about the toys, comics, and more merchandise.

Games and Gadgets Show to premier hottest MMORPGs and tech gizmos

Commercial as well as up-and-coming Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MMORPG) in the Philippines will share the stage for the first time at the Games and Gadgets Show 2005 (G2 Show) being organized by MMOG Philippines and Gold Horizons Interactive Media.
The G2 Show is MMOG Philippines' initial venture at bringing together the rapidly growing Filipino online gaming community as well as provide a platform for game publishers to showcase the latest developments in MMORPGs in the Philippines
the G2 Show will also feature the latest electronic gadgets and gizmos from different categories including audio, broadband, digital entertainment, digital imaging, embedded technologies, home theater, mobile electronics, tele-communication, video and wireless.
PC Modding Contest
The G2 Show will also be highlighted by the PC Modding Contest, where individuals and companies jazz up the traditional PC box, as well as the Costume Play (CosPlay) Competition, where avid gamers can dress up as their favorite character during the Show.
Capping the G2 Show will be the awarding of The Best Games and Gadgets, or the hottest technology products on the show floor, which will be selected by the droves of people expected to attend the event.
